Beautiful, natural and unique. Special people can be remembered in a special way. An eco-friendly alternative made from 100% Scottish materials. Our coffins and urns are crafted with love and care here in Moray. Willow is the most sustainable material for coffins as it only takes a year to grow and is coppice- able, as opposed to the growing time needed for a tree. The sturdy base is made using locally sourced timber from Logie. These coffins are appropriate for green burial and cremation.
All standard sizes are kept in stock and can be delivered locally and couriered nationwide. It is possible to pre- book a coffin in advance of the time of need and we can look after it for you until then. We understand that ‘standard’ won’t suit everyone and we can create coffins to suit individual sizes, tastes and personalities. When you are in need of a coffin, please just phone us and we can take things from there.
Made following time-honoured traditions. Each coffin comes fully lined with a soft, bio-degradable, waterproof calico lining. No resins or varnishes are used in the process and so there are no harmful toxins released into the environment.
You are welcome to come to us to participate in the creation of a coffin. Please just pick up the phone and we can arrange a time to suit.
Adult coffins range in price of £650 to £750. Smaller sizes start from £150, depending on the size needed.
If you feel in need of help, advice and after death assistance, it is offered by ‘After The Last Breath’ and supports the not-for-profit Scottish charity Pushing Up The Daisies. It was inspired by the requests to the charity helpline from people who wanted to care for a loved one themselves, but either were not confident in the care of their body or were not able to provide transport themselves.
